EIA: US crude inventories decrease 2.1 million bbl

US crude oil inventories, excluding the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, decreased by 2.1 million bbl for the week ended Sept. 14, according to data from the US Energy Information Administration. Goodrich updates Haynesville operations

Goodrich Petroleum Corp., Houston, has provided updates on its Haynesville shale wells. The Harris-Dickson 14&23 No. 1 well in Thorn Lake field in Red River Parish, La., achieved a 24-hr peak rate of 27.5 MMcfd of gas from 6,100 ft of lateral. Goodrich also has drilled and cased the Loftus 27&22 No. 1 well.
