Study confirms advance in rim seal fire control

A new approach to LNG cargo management during ship-to-ship (STS) transfers focuses on optimizing tank-pressure monitoring and control. The concept is primarily developed for STS transfers between LNG marine carriers (LNGC) and floating storage and regasification units (FSRU), but some of its components are also relevant to STS transfers from LNGC to LNGC.
