Many oil and gas companies are taking steps to improve the efficiency and profitability of their businesses by digitizing key business processes. This article examines a project eSimulation Inc., Houston, undertook in late 2013 to help improve the efficiency of a US midstream operator’s condensate business by helping the operator transform its management from paper and spreadsheets to specialized digital applications, as well as the benefits associated with having a common-decision platform with which to manage the midstream gathering business.
