Eni SPA says its prospective acquisition of a 70% interest in Oooguruk oil field in the Beaufort Sea offshore Alaska will complement work at nearby Nikaitchuq oil field. It has agreed to acquire the interest from Caelus Natural Resources Alaska LLC and become operator. It now holds 30%.
