US Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chair Lisa Murkowski (R-Alas.) released proposed legislation
on Nov. 8 that would authorize oil and gas leasing on the Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge’s Coastal Plain to raise nearly $1 billion for
the proposed Fiscal 2018 federal budget.
