Senate follows House, puts sanctions on Russia, Iran, North Korea

The US Senate passed a bill imposing sanctions on Russia, Iran, and
North Korea two votes short of unanimous approval 2 days after it was
approved by the US House. Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Bernie Sanders
(I-Vt.) cast the only nay votes in the July 27 balloting for HR 3364. The measure won House approval by 419 to three votes 2 days earlier.
