Royal Dutch Shell PLC has let a contract to KBR Inc., Houston, to provide technology for a solvent deasphalting (SDA) unit at subsidiary Shell Nederland Raffinaderij BV’s 404,000-b/d Pernis refinery in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
