Jizzakh Petroleum, a joint venture of Uzbekneftegaz and Gazprom International subsidiary Gas Project Development Central Asia, has let a contract to Honeywell UOP to provide technology for a proposed 5 million-tonne/year grassroots refinery under construction in the Jizzakh region of eastern Uzbekistan.
